CASTOVIA respects intellectual property rights and expects all operators to do the same. This policy outlines our approach to copyright compliance and takedown procedures.
1. Our Commitment
CASTOVIA is a management platform for legal IPTV/OTT operations. We do not host, store, or serve streaming content ourselves. Content is managed on operator-owned infrastructure. However, we take copyright compliance seriously and provide tools and policies to support legal content distribution.
2. Operator Responsibilities
Operators using CASTOVIA are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring they hold valid licenses and rights for all content configured in the platform
- Complying with copyright laws in all jurisdictions where their content is distributed
- Responding to copyright complaints related to their content
- Maintaining records of their content licensing agreements
- Configuring geo-blocking where required by their license terms
3. Takedown Procedure
If you believe that content managed through CASTOVIA infringes your copyright, please submit a takedown notice to [email protected] containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the content that is claimed to be infringing (including URLs if available)
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the content is not authorised by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate
- Your physical or electronic signature
4. Our Response
Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, CASTOVIA will:
- Investigate the complaint promptly
- Notify the operator responsible for the content
- Request the operator to provide proof of licensing or remove the content
- Suspend or terminate operator accounts involved in repeated or wilful copyright infringement
- Cooperate with rights holders and legal authorities as required by law
5. Repeat Infringers
CASTOVIA maintains a repeat infringer policy. Operators who are the subject of multiple valid copyright complaints may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated at our discretion.
