Supplier Marketplace Guide
How the Supplier Marketplace works for both content suppliers and IPTV/OTT providers.
Supplier Flow
Content suppliers create offers that providers can browse and activate.
- 1Supplier creates a stream offer with title, description, and metadata.
- 2Supplier sets a price per subscriber/month or marks the offer as free.
- 3Supplier defines territory availability (countries/regions).
- 4Supplier adds content rights notes and licensing information.
- 5Supplier defines ad rights (whether ads are permitted).
- 6Supplier defines recording/catch-up rights (whether recording is permitted).
- 7Supplier sets CDN/DRM requirements if applicable.
Provider Flow
Providers browse the marketplace, activate offers, and serve content to their subscribers.
- 1Provider browses the Supplier Marketplace in Castovia admin.
- 2Provider reviews offer details, pricing, territories, and rights.
- 3Provider activates the offer for their service.
- 4Provider maps the activated offer to a package/bouquet.
- 5Subscribers with the package receive entitlement to the stream.
- 6Settlement preview is generated for the billing period.
- 7CSV export is available for settlement records.
Important Clarifications
Payouts: No real payout is executed unless a payment/payout provider is configured. Settlement records are for tracking and CSV export.
Content rights: The supplier is responsible for having legal rights to the content they offer. Castovia does not verify content legality.
Distribution: The provider is responsible for legal distribution in their operating territories.
